A striking fusion of classic tailoring and rugged, artisanal texture, this denim jacket reimagines the timeless trench style silhouette with a bold, hand-dyed burgundy finish. The proprietary dye process saturates the fabric with deep wine tones, rich crimson highs, and shadowy undertones, all while enhancing a beautifully gritty, weathered vintage texture. Elevating the piece into a true work of wearable textile art are its intricate architectural details: complex quilting patterns that add structure, paired with raised, braided details that create exceptional tactile and visual depth. Completed with a classic button closure, traditional fold-down collar, and functional pockets, this statement trench brings a fine-art edge to heavy-duty reworked denim.

FAQs

What dyeing and printing techniques do you use?

Shelbe Shop uses acid wash and fiber reactive dyes for dyeing. For printing, garments are hand-printed with washable inks. Block printed items use hand-carved linoleum blocks and oil-based, non-toxic ink, while screen printed items are made with permanent acrylic inks.

how do I care for my hand dyed pieces?

For acid wash items, washing in warm water and low tumble dry is recommended, with no risk of dye bleeding. For over dyed items(colored items), washing separately in cold water with similar colors is advised. Printed garments should be treated with cold water and low tumble dry.

what kind of dyes do you use?

We use acid wash dye removal and fiber reactive dyes for cotton to dye the pieces.
